Dude just get ARP Head studs. They run around 175 for all the studs.

Make sure you get them for a GSR....not a B16a.

Either way...B18 block and B16 head = B18 head studs...

they are the same... the differance between honda studs is mostly the length of them

Profile Gsr: Ummmm this is just in case you didn't know but the Head stud kits have 12-point nuts so a right socket is another thing to worry about if you are doing the work yourself.

Just get some ARP head studs from Summitt for a GSR. You need the GSR studs, cause they are longer than the B16 ones. Yes, the ARP studs are a 12pt head.

Also make sure you get the 1/2 inch drive 13mm with a deep socket for them. The walls are a little thicker than the 3/8 and you will need a deep socket to reach them. I have broke a few sockets on tightening the head bolts. Thank god for craftsman, I severly abuse the broken tool policy at Sears.

from the experiences i have had,i think the stock ones are just as good.i have accidentally boosted around 50lbs of boost with no head gasket problem on stock bolts.now,i have arp studs and am experiencing problems at 17 lbs(no,it is not running lean). i am thinking that the honda ones may even be better.i called arp and ask if he thought the studs could have stretched, and he said "anything is possible".

Are stock B16A head bolts shorter than stock GSR head bolts? What about ITR ones? I am asking because when I slapped my B18C5 back together (ITR head and ITR block), I used head bolts from a '00 Si. It's a naturally aspirated car.

B17A, B17A, B18C all use same head bolts/studs. Same length.

Its the head that makes the bolts require different lengths. Hence the reason
why b18a/b need different length bolts.
