Oil Line Pressure Question...
Ok, ive gotten all my fittings for installing oil lines, all my turbo oil lines, and tees to firewall locate oil sending unit for ECU and Gauge. Well, im locating the sensors on the firewall...and am needing to make sure that the hose i use to firewall locate it will support the oil and pressure. I have 2 ft of transmisison oil cooler hose to remotely locate the sensors on the firewall. Will this type of hose support the temp and pressure of engine oil and pressure? I assume it will...and if not, where can i get some hose to handle this?

Re: (themorphious)
no idea what it'll hold, you could ask a parts store. Or if you have a local napa, they can make you a line, of reinforced hydrolic line or whatever it is. It's a little harder to work with, but they'll put fittings on it, and it'll def. hold your pressure.

Re: (coneheadsracing)
well, does napa have oil lines that'll hold the pressure of a honda oil pump.......just the line itself. I plan on running a barbed fitting with hose clamps for now, until i can get the money to run All stainless hoses.

you should be fine with the barbed fittings for a while......I have my oil pressure guage hooked up to my little manifold distribution oil thing and the most oil pressure I see is 75-80 psi.....If I was you i would fork out the extra dough for stainless lines or get some napa lines made....hydraulic hose would work just fine....
