OIL LEAKING FROM TURBO ????????
The pipe that goes to where the red arrow is pointing blew off today in the highway when i went to put it back on I Noticed there was oil in this pipe is there supposed to be oil in the pipe ????? someone told me that an oil catch would fix this problem is this true ????? if not what could be wrong ???? Could it be that the actual turbo is fucked up the seal or something............... And how is oil getting there to begin with if is not the actual turbo leaking ................

Re: (GDM93Si)
ever try a oil feed restrictor? its just a fitting with a .060" hole inline to your turbo to lower the flow rate of the oil.. worked for my turbo.
atpturbo sells them.

Re: (y7turbo)
I would guess that you need to look inside your intake plumbing as well. If you have a PCV or valvecover nipple plugged into your intake piping, the turbo will create a huge vacuum and suck oil right of the head of your engine and send it on its way to the combustion chamber. Thats how a catch can would help you, by seperating the oil vapor out of the air that goes through the PCV and valvecover.
So in other words if between your air filter and the turbo inlet you have a hose connected to the engine, the turbo is probably sucking oil vapor. But if you don't have it setup that way, then yes, the oil would have to come from the turbo itself.
