I have a Garrett t3t04e 57trim turbo.. and i was seeing a lot of different turbo oil feed lines.. I wondering if i should get a -3AN feed line or a -4An feed line? I don't like to buy things from ebay.. but there lines are pretty cheap.. and but i am not a person to go cheap on parts for cars.. so to speak.. lol.. but what is the difference between buying a ebay or for instance a full-race feed kit.. thanks again...

ebay oil lines have worked fine for me. You could also check out stealthmode or fastturbo

did you use the -3 or the -4 line.. on ebay.. i am seeing the -4 lines.. but at like stealthmode. they are using the -3 line.. which line size should i use..

im about in the same shoes u are in, ive asked around with guys that are very fimiliar with these stuff and they tell me on the very same turbo that if im using a -4an oil line then i would need to run a .065" oil restrictor, if im using a -3an oil line then i wouldnt need a restrictor, but to be on the safe side i would need to install a oil pressure guage to check the engine's oil pressure, Something about 25psi on idle and not over 80psi on wot is normal. hope this helps.

Make sure the feed lines on ebay are long enough. I was looking at the ebay ones a few months ago and from what I remember they are only 36 inches long which may be a bit tight. I ended up getting the feed/drain kit from B&R fittings because their kit comes with a 48 inch feed.

Also another major issue is the fitting that goes into the oil pressure sensor port, many of the ebay kits don't have the correct pitch thread, which can cause leaks or even strip the block. B&R supplys the correct block fitting in their kits.

I have the golden eagle sandwich plate so I dont have that issue. But ok I will make sue on the length.. but I need to figure out the line size though..

well my stealthmode -3an feed line recently cracked at the flare angle off the block and spewed oil all over the place .. dangerous situation .. I turned to another company for a replacement feed line

Really.. that sucks.. but I am probably going with a 3an line.. but now what company.

Call garrett and ask them what size line to use for your specific turbo and if it needs any type of restrictor. They should not have any issue with helping you. Then you will know you will have the correct ammount of oil in the turbo

Any feed line will work as long as you got the corresponding garret restrictor.

I think its funny how so many people have this turbo. But no real answer but It's all good though

funny indeed .. go -3an feed without restrictor .. you've got a journal bearing turbo that does not have a coolant cooling system .. it will take whatever you'll throw at it from the -3an feed, just make sure your drain line has no restrictions .. -3an feed line without restrictor

I am running the same turbo as you on a B16A3. Your -3AN line might be enough but there would be those that would disagree in the thread I started w/ the same concerns you have... There are some pretty experienced insightful opinions in here so hopefully this'll help you out like it did me... I've been running my 65 thou restrictor for about 1/2 a year w/ no problems so far btw if that tells you anything... here's the thread that helped me to make my decision...

Sorry about your bad situation, but our hose ends are no different than any other companies. You over-tighten them, and they crack. They're aluminum, just as any company offering stainless lines.

-4 is fine for journal bearing, as well as our -3an, which is fine for journal or ball bearing. Ask the manufacturer of your turbo to find what they recommend, as (if you have a problem with your turbo), they're sure to use the oil lines as the first blame of yours.
