Default Oil Feed line question

How many of you are running the feed line off of a firewall relocation kit other then running a brass fitting straight off of the block. I'm wondering because i am kind of weary of running a heavy fitting off of the block. Also, who sells the firewall oil line relocation kits?

cool man. Thanks for the quick reply. I will probably be giving either fast-turbo or stealthmode a call monday. I feel alot safer running it off of the firewall.

A friend of mine thinks that brass fitting is too heavy and with the vibration of the car it would break off into the block. Also I am going to run an aftermarket gauge and it would be alot easier and give me more access if it was on the firewall.

plus another thing i like about running the T by the firewall is you keep the SS line away from the ALT.

I have both the firewall kit, and the sandwich adapter. Today I was doing my turbo install and started up my motor after putting in about a gallon of antifreeze in the new radiator, and oil of course.

I started up my motor, and left it on for a bout 1 minute to a minute and a half. I then noticed alot of oil dripping from under the car. I turned off the car immediately, and just checked quickly under the car and I think it was coming from my sandwich adapter/filter. I then had to put about 1 1/4 more quart of oil.

I had to rush out though after that unfortunately so I didn't get to diagnose fully. My friend put it on. I have a blox one. I don't know if there is a specific way of putting it on, tightening it? Not sure, How exactly does it go on? I didn't get directions. Just two brass fittings, and I used one, that matched up with the filter. It did come with a rubber piece on it. It semed pretty self-explanatory, but maybe it was put on wrong???

Thanks for the help.
