Oil feed line....
Where does everyone tap into for oil source to the turbo? I heard that I could tap into the front of the cylinder head right around where the vtec solinoid is mounted.... Is this a good idea?
I tested the port on a b18 non VTEC which also has a port up by the distributor and oil pressure was only 10psi and did not raise with RPM. I also have a VTEC H22 in the shop that I will be testing that port on, but Im assuming it will have about the same psi. It appears to be a extremely low pressure port and as such, not sufficient in the least to supply your turbo(should be at least 25-35 psi at idle and rise as rpm rises) You will ruin you turbo if you use this port(at least Im assuming its the same for the VTEC)

Yea not enough pressure from that port. Run the feed from the oil pressure sender port at the back of the block next to the oil filter.

if you use the other source, u only get enough pressure in vtec, and plus that is the last place for oil to circulate when ur engine is cold
