Oil feed line ? ? ?
I just bought a turbo kit big 16g evo3 turbo.
The oil return line in the kit is HIGH PRESURE FUEL LINE RUBBER. with
fittings and hose clamps small ones. The FRIEND i got it from was
useing this line no leaks no problems for 250 miles then blew his motor
over boosting to 15psi. Lucky me i bought the kit !
Is it safe to use or do i HAVE to get a steelbraided oil line ?
It seems like the only ghetto part of the kit.
Im on a no money left budget and this is my only problem ? ? ?

The feed line is a pretty critical part of the system, and I personally wouldn't cheap out on it, since it can cause extensive damage to both your engine and the turbo if it fails. You can probably piece together a stainless braided fee line for $30-40. That's like one tank of gas.

x2, as i found out the hard way
my ghetto rigged feed line popped off while driving, and now i'm HOPING that the worst case scenario is a broken oil pump, which ISN'T easy to replace

feed or return?
you don't need a stainless for the return, for the feed it is best to have one though. for the return i always run high temp high pressure truck hose for like 3 bucks a foot.

Ya its the FEED line not the return.
Do you think theres enough oil presure
to pop off the line ? or rip it ?
Th oil line is hardline off the turbo then CUT
and FLARED for the rubber hose with two hose clamps.
Its on there pretty damn good ! ! !
