Default oil drain, bung

does any one know where to get a bung welded on an oil drain for a vortech supercharger, in the phoenix area? the install manual doesnt say i need to weld on a bung rather taper the oil pan with a center punch, then use a tap

you should be fine just drilling the pan and tapping it. I would suggest putting a nut on the fitting on the other side of the pan, rather than just relying on the threads you put in the pan. The wall is pretty thin.

a good alternative to welding if you don't have a welder.
