To get them to work in an an obd0 b16a motor all you need is the resistor box and injectors right?

You have to dremel the injector seats out because the 450s are thicker than stock.

Otherwise they fit fine!

There really isn't much to it. Mine's a b18a, so I'm not sure what differences there are. But I undid the 3 bolts that hold my fuel rail on, pulled that off (some fuel will come out if you don't relieve the fuel pressure), take the injectore clips off, and then the injectors come right out.

There will be a soft rubber gasket that the injectors seat into, as well as a solid metal one. I just ditched the metal one, and the rubber ones have to be bored out to fit the 450's. You'll notice right away exactly what has to be done, it's obvious where the gasket has to go and that it doesn't fit.

A dremel is the best method I've used for doing this. The first time I did it I just trimmed them out with a razor blade, and I had vacuum leaks galour. To do it better, I used a dremel with a sanding wheel on it, and just evenly went around the inside of the gasket with it and kept test fitting it to the DSM injector. Just try to do it as evenly and smooth as possible so it doesn't leak, and allow it to fit a little snug.

i put them on my b16 turbo....first things first go to home depot with 30$ and buy a dremel....take the fuel rail off and the little o ring the injector goes into (its on the intake manifold u cant miss it)....take all 4 out....and put the 450 injector in ...notice its a little fat....so it doesnt fir flush.....put the stock one in and see how it fits...then take out the dremel and widen the o ring....should only take 20 seconds per o ring....then put 450 injectos in.....and bolt everything back up....you dont even need to change injector clips if its obd0...just plug and play

One of the sanding drums that came with my dremel is a perfect size to fit into the stock injector. and yeah putting them into a spare manifold helps a lot. I use a little rtv to keep em still.
