OIL Drain
It looks like it dips down and then comes back up.
There has to be a smooth angle. It's gravity drained, so if it goes uphill at all it won't drain properly.

Yup. That would totally lead to premature seal wear if it were driven like that.
Just do whatever it takes to get the drain to be smooth from the turbo to the pan without dipping below the level of the pan fitting.
