oil dip stick burning up because of turbo
I have a greddy kit on my ls integra and the rubber part of the dipstick that keeps it up in the tube is literally getting cooked and cracking apart from all the heat from the turbo. Are there any good aftermarket dipsticks out there that will be able to withstand the heat or should I just put a heat wrap around it?

I don't have a egt gauge. However now that I'm using hondata with a good tune they seem to be lasting slightly longer. It's no surprise to me being as the manifold is less than two inches from cheap *** rubberized plastic.

I have a GReddy kit on my Integra GS-R and the side of the dipstick near the mani is a little bit melted, but it isn't bad enough that I need a new one. When I installed the turbo I bent the tube that the dipstick goes into up towards the engine a bit so it would fit better. EGT Temps are usually around 1350-1450*F and max at 1550*F, but the turbo, mani and downpipe are all wrapped with this: http://store.summitracing.com/...=ecat
It keeps the underhood temperatures lower (and also exhaust gas velocities up), but in turn doesn't allow the turbo to be air cooled at all, so if you are running a turbo thats cooled only by the oil flowing through it, it's a good idea to run an oil cooler also.
I'll take some closeups of the wrap and oil dipstick if you guys are interested.
