Default oil cooler possibility

ok in my 92 DA the radiator that im running has the ports on the bottom for tranny lines to cool the tranny. in other words its an automatic tranny radiator in my manual car. seeing as how im not using these ports could I run lines to them and use it as an oil cooler? i was thinking of buying an oil filter relocation kit and running the lines inline to the radiator with the filter relocation. would this work?

motor oil is too thick to go through that oil cooler and it would obstruct flow. it doesnt have enough capacity to be very effective anyways. if you really wanted an oil cooler id just buy a real one. you can find a B&M one for cheap.
