Default which oil cooler is everyone using?

hey guys.

the search function has been down for a while so i cant find any info on what seems to be the most popular engine oil cooler.

i have my eye on the B&M oil cooler which is not to expensive but will it work good for a boosted honda engine. the cooler itself looks kinda small so will it be very effective?
http://www.bmracing.com/index....id=79

then there is also FAL (flex-a-lite) which has 2 types of coolers. one is their "standard" duty with a cooler core about the same size as the B&M and they have a heavy duty core which is about double the thickness (but almost double the price)
http://www.flex-a-lite.com/aut....html

i don't want to spend a huge amount of money on an oil cooler if it's not going to make a huge improvement so will the smaller of the two oil coolers be good enough to control a little of the heat?

what is everyone else using?

I just bought a universal oil cooler from summit for $30, and a sandwich adapter to run the lines, but I the sandwich adapter leaked like a bitch so I took it off. I also didnt want to wear out my oil pump so I dont think I am going to reinstall it until I upgrade to a vtec oil pump.

i was thinking of making my own custom oil cooler setup as well....it might come out cheaper.....but i want some thing that works efficiently.

Mocal

Most of the sandwich adaptors I have seen use 3/8 NPT, which is too small for our motors IMO. Either get the Mocal plate with 1/2 NPT or go with a full setup with an oil filter reloaction kit. Whatever you do, make sure your setup includes a thermostat.

Edit: I also would NOT use anything that utilizes hose clamps etc. At least use Aeroquip socketless hose.

It was some $40 ebay one, with a built in thermostat, I dont know if I installed it wrong or what, but it poured out oil when I started it up. I also didnt feel to good about using the hose clamps either, next time I do an oil cooler i'm goin with the socketless fittings or something that i know wont blow off or leak.
