Default Oil all down the block! Help!!

Hey everyone. I just got done building my forged internal, stock sleeve b16. I used an oem headgasket, and arp studs torqued to 65ish ft/lbs, as well as copper spray. The head was decked, and the block was milled. I installed new oem cam seals, and a valve cover gasket, but after 700 miles, my car was low a quart of oil. There is oil all down the front side of the block, from the passenger side to the drivers side. I haven't tried replacing with a billet cam seal, or dizzy o ring, or vtec solenoid, because i think it is the headgasket. Anyone have any ideas?!

get some brake clean and clean it off, then run it, and pinpoint the problem..

Ill try that, and i'm going to try that oil dye **** that glows under a blacklight. I was also thinking, the head was milled .004" and the block was decked .009, and i have heard the dowell pins can actually hold the head up a little bit, and i didn't have them milled. That could contribute to only being on the front side, but i have heard if the headgasket doesn't seal, coolant will leak before oil, not sure how true that is though

i'd check all the cam seals, dizzy, etc. i don't think there are any oil jackets on the front of the motor that would cause this. it's probably coming out of a cam seal (most likely trans side) and and finding the lowest point, which is the front of the motor. i had a similar problem on my built motor and it freaked me out. but it was just a leaky seal.

Yeah i am starting to think it is going to be something simple, dizzy o ring, vtec solenoid, but i did replace the exhaust cam seal (although i used an oem piece)

DOES ANYONE know if this much oil is likely from a headgasket, with no smoke, and no mixing of oil and coolant? i would just be happy to know that it isn't a headgasket

i would guess the cam seal, because 99% of the time, the oem cam seals leak..

I would believe so to, but i just find it crazy, because the oil leak goes all the way to the cam gear side, and is an equal leak all across, and goes all down to the oil pan. I guess ill just start with the easy stuff, and if that doesn't fix it, ill go into the motor

its more of a preference thing. The more i think about it, i have seen an engine with bad torque on the headstuds (stripped) and it leaked coolant, not oil...So i'm going to try all the gaskets first, and cross my fingers. Ill let you guys know!
