oil on #2 plug !!!
just got the rex running today, took it out about 3 times and didn't notice any smoke pooring out. When I got home my brother told me to check the plugs to see if its running rich or not. When I pulled the #2 wire the boot was soaked, then when I pulled the plug the plug had oil all over the top and bottom.
I'm hoping to find that the spark plug seal is bad, I seem to remember oil pooled on top of the plug before I pulled it because I was cussing. the boot was so swelled with oil it came apart in the tube and was a Bioutch to come out. Guess I'll run a compression test tomorrow. But since oil is on both sides and earth has gravity there is a good chance its a seal right? all the other plugs were ok....

Re: oil on #2 plug !!! (88crxvtec)
I had that same problem on my crx zc about a month ago. i just bought a new valve cover seal set with the rubber spark plug seals. slapped them in and haven't had a problem since

but then again i ran a compression check right after i did that and came up with 160, 155, 140 and 155. the 140 being the cylinder with the oil on the plug. these numbers were with low compression pistions too.
