whats up guys i have a list of parts for my built b16..but my question is it safe to run a OEM headgasket from honda if im shooting for 500whp??thats just for dyno/track probley turn the boost down...ill be DD it around 15 psi..many people told me to run oem thats best i just want your opinion the last thing i want to do is spend alot of money and blow a headgasket...thanks for your help

i always suggest oem, never had any issues using them. im at 613whp on mine.

I am sticking with OEM from now on (well with a little work from GE to make it match my bore... THANKS GE!).

Cometic said they could not help me when I called for a custom headgasket, honestly I am glad they did... I found a better route.

Im using a Fel Pro headgasket on my B18C right now cause I didnt have time to get a OEM one. Working fine and been boosting the life out of it while I was racing. I guess its close to OEM quality.

im not sure probally wrong but i think a while back i heard oem has graphite in em but i may be wrong anybody know

oem, alot of 600whp honda guys still use the (oem) headgasket.
