alright, well i noticed a loud whistling sound under boost, it just started, and i know its not an exhaust leak. im not sure if its one of the hoses off of the wastegate or turbo leaking or charge/intercooler pipe leaking, but its loud as hell whistling and it isnt holding as much boost as it usually does, about 2 lbs lower. another reason this is concerning me is because its similar to the sound that i heard when it blew the ringlands, and it was the air bypassing the pistons.... anyone have this happen to them? ive blown off the charge pipe completely before, and it didnt go into boost and all and it just sounded totally different...not sure what it is, any help would be appreciated.

 

maybe a coupler has a hole in it?

 

id check the coupler coming off of the turbo. ive heard of them getting torn because of the torcking motion of the motor and the heat from the compressor housing
