I have one sitting in the garage so I was woundering is anyone running this ramhorn, and if so how is it working out for you. I know there not known for great quality, but I have a friend that needs a cheap way of building his ride.

how far does he intend to travel with that manifold?

he may get a couple weeks out of it before the wastegate pipe that is welded to the manifold cracks and falls off.

Why doesn't anyone know how to use the SEARCH function? There is at least one questions every week about a obx or other cheap ebay manifold...

Why not have it rewelded braced and/or gusseted before installation? Much easier than waiting for welds to crack.

Run it. why not. If it breaks it breaks. If not then consider yourself lucky. Mine didnt break.

lol kool it has been rewelded already, and ill let y boiii know you guys think its a descent manifold as well. Thanx for the feedback. Ill answer why I dont use the search button, and its because technology changes everyday wich means the information in the search isnt going to be accurate anymore. I also like to live think tank with todays setup as aposed to the yeasterday, or yester years. I hope that answers why I didnt use the search button, and btw good luck with the LS-T thats in the works.

I know somebody who has had an OBX manifold for over 3 years, BUT it was only driven twice a year.

Having a manifold for a long time means nothing. I can guarantee that I can crack the POS manifold in one roadracing session with 14 kg coilovers and nailing the each apex.

Generally, bracing the manifold doesn't even make it significantly stronger. If you drive like my grandma, don't bother bracing it because it will last you 15+ years and won't ever crack anyway.
