your going to have natural harmnoics occurring in your vtec around 7k due to the nature of the OBX unit.

? im just asking what will happend? a friend of mine did nothinke and he put obx lsd in his rally civic and no problem after one seson

Just slap it in then.Really for the 30 minutes of work i like to double check things especailly chinese type parts but its your car.

I was the creator of that thread. I'm a bit disappointed to see that it turned into some sort of business opportunity for some guy to sell stuff

I did not purchase or replace anything for my LSD other than the stripped bolts. I would not recommend purchasing any "upgraded" parts either, as my LSD has been running strong and free of problems since it was installed 1 year/15,000 miles ago.

Also, it only takes an hour to disassemble, inspect, and re-assemble the carrier, so I'm not sure why you wouldn't do it...

Definately disassemble the dif. and clean it, then retorque all the bolts. No problems then. Mine has been in the car for a couple of years and has over 100 passes on it, I've had the trans apart a few times and always inspect the dif. It has never had any problems or given any problems.

opened mine and cleaned it mine was like (((()( but the washer sleeve“s was the same no diffrent in my lsd (bout for b series)
