dont make the same mistake that so many others like myself have made. Spend the money and get something quality the first time, it will end up saving you money in the long run, TRUST ME.

well are there any good "kits" out there..thats worth it..i mean i dont want to spend 3-4 g's on a turbo kit , ill be better off getting a b series swap , in my opinion, i just dont need this learning phase to cost me an arm..there are somany parts available for the cars(honda) that i juast had to find out why no one uses them(obx)..

Well from reading your last post, it doesnt seem (at least in my opinion) what you wanna do or what kinda numbers you wanna put down. Greddy makes a good kit for under 2000 bucks. I dont know what kind of numbers it outs down. That is a good starter kit if you dont have the know how, time or desire to put your own kit together...which really isnt hard. I mena look at what a turbo kit offers as far as parts and make your own. You may have to do some research on turbo sizes and whatnot. I would suggest the greddy for you. I pondered on the OBX turbo manifold but I saw too much negative about it, plus it was too bling bling for me. One guy DID have positive stuff to say about it on here. He had to brace it or some ****

There are some fast SOHC out there. I am goign to dump a few bucks into mine. The only way I would swap my motor to a DOHC, is if I got a hook up. If you can get the LS cheap, go for it. IF not, strap a DIY turbo on it and learn. Good tting is, D Series ***** are cheap. You can blow your block and prolly get another one for around 100 bucks.

you should be able to boost more than 5-7 psi on a stock bottom end. Too many factors go into boosting besides what the internals are like. I am quite sure people run more than 7 psi on stock d-series. I just read a few threads somewhere about it.
