hey guys, basically I am piecing my turbo kit together and need to buy injectors, something to sustain about 400whp on a daily driver. I have a currently obd0 rhd crx. But MAY convert to obd1.

I will be boosting a d16a6(d16z6 intake and fuel rail) which comes factory with a resistor box.

Im confused if I can buy an injector and have it work with both setups? Rather I stay obd0 or go obd1?

is there a specific detail I should be looking for when purchasing??

The difference is peak and hold versus saturated injectors.

This is EASILY searchable, and really doesn't belong in the Forced Induction forum to begin with.

The injector requirements aren't decided by the ECU but rather the injector impedance.

So basically you need to pick an ECU OBD, then choose injectors to support your WHP goals, and finially either keep the resistor box installed or remove it to satisfy the injectors. Here, this will put a little shake in your boots:

Sorry I wasnt sure what forum to put it in, that read is very technical I will have to sit down and read it a few times after work.

What are the "standard" type of injectors for turbo OBD1 hondas in the 350-400whp range, or if I stuck with OBD0

or if you're staying obd0, I'd pick up some lancer evolution 550cc injectors and just keep the resistor box on. Some say that the 450cc injectors can hold 300hp.

Im going for 350+ whp so Im not even sure the 550's would be good enough, I dont want to run such crazy high duty cycles

Think you are going to want around a 700cc injector.
I would go with the low impedance with a resistor box at that size of injector.
I know they are available in both types, but the non-resistor box type tend to be a little laggy. It's more noticeable when you need to run the bigger injector hard.

And I can keep my factory resistor box after switching to obd1 and it will work with whatever "resistor box style" biggere injectors I get?
