o2 simulator
I noticed on the the drag deal that's going on right now, it comes with a o2 simulator. Has anyone used it? And if so, does it work with obd2 and how much is one of those bad boyz?
TIA,

Well, got one with the Drag groupbuy but I dd not want to use it(more stuff to wire). They are only made for OBDII vehicles, there is no need for it on OBDI you are just disconnecting the 2nd o2 sensor(which OBDI does not have) so you can run a high flow cat or test pipe. If you don't want to hassle wth wiring it up and you are planning on gettng a test pipe or high flow cat, just have the muffler shop weld an o2 bung on there for your second O2 sensor. That's what I did and it works just fine(no CEL).
BTW, they run about $35.

how hard is it to wire those things up? i have a test pipe in it now, with a bung for the 2nd o2 sensor and i still get a cel.
anyhow, i have been driving with the cel for about 2 yrs. now.

why wouldn't you get a CEL? the test pipe sure isn't going to alter the o2 reading from the 1st to 2nd sensor (which is what they're looking for; i.e. verification that cat is working)
