O-ringing really worth it??
Well, I have blown 2 headgaskets in the last 2 weeks, and I don't know what to do, this has me scrathing my head in confusion.
I have heard about o-ringing the block, and I have heard about o-ringing the head. I found out from my old boss today that to o-ring the block, it has to be fully dissasembled. But he told me that I could just o-ring the head without fully dissasembling it, and it would serve the same purpose. He has never steered me in the wrong direction, I just want to get some opinions.
Also, what type of headgasket would you prefer with an o-ringed head?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

If your set on doing it, start with the head, leave the block alone.
get a copper gasket and do what you gotta do, just have fun getting it to seal....

O ringing is well good.. but meh.... there are 1000's of people that run mega boost levels and don't have a o ring'ed block. check that both surfaces are "flat" something is causing the gasket to fail..... find the problem and solve it.
