K20 block and K24 head
Hey, im new to the forum, so of course have a lot of questions id like answered.
I have a K20a2 block and was thinking about getting a K24 head. (i believe its a K24a3, ill ask the guy again). i researched the specs and read that the k20 block has a bore and stroke of 86mm x 86mm and the k24 head 87mm x 99mm.
what id like to know is would i have to bore my block to the same specs as the head in order for it to be compatible?

Re: K20 block and K24 head (grimey civic)
i would just get the matching type s head and throw a turbo on it.....i dont know if there are really advantages to putting a k24 head on a k20 block...the other way around has been known to show some good numbers, but thats just what ive heard
