Atleast SOHC come cheap get another one and boost away! That's one thing I like about it...is that you can always get another one and blow it just the same!! good job!

Well one good thing, it'll be cheap to replace and your not mad so I guess all in good fun. Too bad you only had it out for that long before blowing it. Was it tuned?

Your stock rods were bound to go, you must have known this.

here a better tranny calculator. http://crx.honda-perf.org/math/index.html

the engine was basically untuned, but it was a really good untuned, because it ran well, but it idled bad.

yes yes, i know i was bound to get the "you're crazy for going that fast". it was all in good fun and i was soo happy and excited to get my car running turbo'ed again. and it definitely wasnt my first time going that fast. but yes i am crazy and dumb

im gonna use the suzuki vitara pistons on my next buildup, but now i have a naughty idea....im gonna pull the pan, get all the bits out, throw in a spare d15 rod i've got, and jbweld the holes up in the front of the block. im just gonna do it to see if it can be done.

I had the same thing happen"piston connecting rod failure" i later found out that when they pressed the pin in it was very tight so they presed it out, inout,in to see if it would loosen up some bad idea, that caused small stress cracks im easily guessing it let loose at top of 5th,the car looked like mosquito control from behind!
