Default Help, need info on Fuel system control

Ok guys, got a d16z6, going into 94 hatch. Motor is turbo VIA custom kit(14b) i am just finishing up getting all the pieces, BOV and FMU is left. So heres the question, i do not have the money for hondata/uberdata , so i want to do something cheaper, i have heard a bit about the afc hack?? but am still very much in the dark, did a serach and found nothing conclusive, and input would be greatly appriciated, thankls

Uberdata is cheaper than a used AFC.

Go back to square one, do your research.

cannont use uberdata, do not have the expertise, or time to mess with it, need a daily driver, something easy to mess with and not so much in depth as uberdata is

I would honestly go with something better that an fmu or an afc, cause you daily driver won't last long. Don't cheap out on the most important part. IF you have to wait and save do so, or you could be sorry in the long run. Uberdata is not that expensive at all.

I would recommend a fuel regulator and or larger injectors. The 1st time that I turboed my D16Z6 I was running lean @8 psi. Wasn't really concerned about it since I was having a block built at the time. After installing the "New" block, I added 440 injectors, fuel reg. & a dyno tuning w/a Greddy E-manage.

i agree with FOrSfEd, dont skimp on the MOST important part. the tuning/fuel management is what really makes or breaks the car. you will regret all of the money spent if you break a motor bc of bad fuel management/tuning. just get uberdata like everyone else said and have someone write you a good basemap and take it easy until you can get someone professional to tune it.
