Default Not another greddy timer question!

Sorry guys but just wanted to see if anyone else has had problems with it. I have used 2 so far. I added a relay like dustin had posted before and it worked great for 2-3 months. It always seems to go crazy after that.

After 2-3 months my first one wouldn't let me arm my alarm anymore. Checked my wiring and it was ok. Bought another timer and it worked.

2-3 months later(now), my alarm can arm but it goes off sometimes. I can hear the relay clicking when I am in the car.

Does any one know exactly what the gray wire does? It just lets a current pass through to the ground? That's what I think but just making sure.

Anyone know where they can fix this thing? Do not want to buy a 3rd one. Thanks for your input/help.

Mine has always worked perfectly... hrm. Maybe you have a relay that likes to fry turbo timers? I used a DEI relay (from viper alarms...)
