Don't go buy NOS or any nitrous companie's jet size. They are under rated almost all the time to keep you safe. Here use this calculator. You can even d/l it to put on a palm to figure it at the track. http://www.robietherobot.com/N...r.htm

Re: NOS jetting questions... (slipslap)
I think the people at NOS have way more experience with nitrous then anyone else. The jetting they give you is slightly on the rich side but it still makes power. A lean mixture with nitrous is a fast ticket to a blown motor. Reducing the fuel jet can make more power but should only be done by those who completely understand nitrous tuning and/or wideband tuning. Your better off runing a rich 100 shot than a lean 80 shot.

I hae to disagree with BoredNStroked, the people at NOS test with maybe a handful of cars, however they can't give the specs for what would be good for every setup, its would just be too complicated. I have there pro race kit on my car, and it says for the 120 shot to run 4 .018 jets, and when I had it set up this way my AFR was richer than my wideband could read. I swapped the jets for .016 jets, and it is still rich beyond wideband readings. I am going to be jetting it down now to .014 jets, a full 2 sizes smaller than what NOS recommends, and I'll be happy if I see a 10:1 afr with that.

I never said mine was lean did I? As a fact mine says rich as well when I spray. Go to the jet calculator and look at it before you start putting it down. it even has some new features I like.

OK man, I didn't read it right. I know NOS is good and know what they are doing. But they are like other nitrous companies. They under rate then just a bit to keep you safer and so that they didn't give you the wrong jets and blow it up. The calculator kics *** especially now that it has a function for direct port. It didn't use to have that. And it has an estimate of how much is at the wheels. Wish I had a Palm to use it at teh track. I have to right down what they are and keep them with me.

It's all good man, heres an idea just for comparing actual #'s versus NOS's numbers. I'm running a 10.5:1 AFR with 26 jets NOS and 14 jets fuel, they recommended 24 jets NOS and 18 jets fuel. Conservatitive is an understatement.

Re: (93accordNOS)
Thats for a single fogger set-up? I am running a .040 nitrous jet and a .024 fuel jet and my air/fuel gauge stays rich when I spray. I don't have a wideband or egt, but when I spray my Autometer shoots all the way to last 2 reds when I spray. And in my 91 lude I pulled away from a 95-99 or so Stang GT from 40mph to 80mph. He was very suprised when I did it. He asked me afterwards and then he laughed. He said " I knew an all motor old lude shouldn't do that to me!"
