Default NOS???

Kind of a newb ? but I'm not too experineced when it comes to nos...ANyway, whats the highest compression u could run on a b18c5 with a 100 shot, and whats the biggest cams u could run on the same setup. This is a daily driver setup
b18c5
sleeved block
12.0 84mm piistons
fully built head w/ stage 2 or 3 pnp job
all the other bolt ons and tuning will be added

Would this be safe or no?
thanx

well im not the biggest nos guy in the world.....but i ran a 75 shot on a 88 crx si for months (spraying a few times daily) with no problems.......and that was a stock motor with 155k miles.....so you just wanna run 25 more and you say you have a fully built motor.....im sure your fine to run 150......just make sure the tuning is good......need lots of fuel with nos

nitrous and high compression = a no no...your motor could probably handle it however its just very risky and no worth it IMO.

im building a b20 with ported head and some rm cams... compression on my setup is around 10.3 and im using a 100 shot. i think mid-low 10s is a great cr for a street "nitrous" motor. the car will still be responsive off juice. if you are going to spray this much i highly suggest that you jet the 100 shot slightly richer than the already rich factory jetting. (to counteract fuel getting trapped in an intake that was only designed to flow air). i have done a lot of research and the guys that make 100 shot work reliably on stock motor are all doing this. also, run the best gas you can get. its just not worth it to toast an expensive motor running cheap fuel. forged pistons are the way to go but you can make the stock ones work if you can write knock out of the equation. the first key to making your motor last, ie not detonating on n2o, is having enough octane for your combination. the second key is to make sure the car NEVER goes lean. install a fuel pressure safety switch. also, pull 3-4* timing only under nitrous activation with sn msd switch. ignition and fuel systems need to be functioning at their best as well. upgraded pumps/afprs are very welcome on you setup. btw...what nitrous kit are you using?

i dont think high compression nitrous is bad...if you are running a well planned out direct port setup you shouldnt have a problem
