My brother just bought a nitrous kit.

His setup as of now is :

JDM GSR Block
ITR Pistons
CTR Manifold
I/H/E (2.5 No Cat) Spoon Exhaust
B16 Head

Question :

The Kit is a Zex Wet Kit;

What can he do to run a safe 50 shot ?

I searched on her but I could not find anything with high compression and nitrous.

 

There is nothing wrong with high compression and nitrous as long as properly tuned.

 

Question:

This is a street car, and will be raced on the bottle and off. could tunning for nitrous and running off the bottle cause performance loss ? (ECU Tunning )

 

high compression loves nx. i would get a direct port and run a 100. but if your running just one nozzle i would do atleast a 75 shot. you can tune it on crome to where you won't lose any performance from being off the bottle. all you have to do is get a Moates 2Timer Two Chip Board. it will allow you to run one chip tuned for all motor and then when you flip a switch bam you have your tune for the nx. that way you won't lose any performace from being off the bottle. great thing abt the moates 2timer is that its only 30. here is the site you can get it off of http://www.xenocron.com/products.php?page=moates. or contact xenocron here on HT.
