Normal to have a littel oil in the intake pipe of turbo?
I was cleaning my air filter today and noticed some oil in the pipe connected top the passenger side turbo and the air filter. IS this normal or is there a problem. ITs not a lot of oil but a little bit

as long is its only a little, you should be fine....its never a good thing to find oil where it shouldn't be, but i can recall a few times that i found a little oil in the same place on my turbo.....it never seemed to affect anything...

you should see a little bit, but if you have excessive oil the seals on your turbo are probably shot.

Oil in the intact tract is bad for any forced induction car. If the oil gets into the combustion chamber, it effectivly lowers the octance of the air-fuel charge promoting detonation. Figure out why your getting oil in the intake tract and eliminate it.
