Noob wanting a Turbo!
Okies, i'm new with the whole import scene, but i'm really wanting to learn and make sure i get things straight before i attempt or purchase anything for my ride. I've got a 2000 Acura Integra Gs and I'm wanting to purchase a turbo for it. Anybody have any suggestions about what type of turbo would be good for the car? Or are most turbos the same just price difference due to the brands? Any information would be helpful! thanks!

I've been on the internet for the past 2 days looking for information. Found some helpful stuff. Does anyone have any websites that they know of that have some information?

Rjardy
knows his ****, nice guy.
he answered most of my questions when i bombarded him with my newbie questions a while ago
the best advice i can give you is this
Before you go start buying stuff do research
not necessarially on your turbo
but first on what you want to do with your car.
if you just want 13's get a kit and leave it at that.
if you want a high 10 second beast your gonna need deep pockets and alot of free time.
good luck

in my opinion, you get the most bang for your buck with the drag turbo kits. some modification is required, but after that you can safely boost 7psi, but turbos do require maintenance so just keep that in mind. if you need a kit, get a hold of me i get drag kits at a good price.

I did about 6 months of research before I turbo'd my car. Any advise id give to u is to not rush it, do ur research(honda-tech) and read the book "Maximum Boost" by corky bell. After enough time you will have the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to turbo a honda and how to do it right. That way you can be sure that u r making wise decisions in ur turbo buying that will make u alot happier in the end.
