Default noob question / mini me advice

i have a few questions about the dseries block

i have a 1992 civic si...

i want to do a turbo d setup but not on the current motor. i want to build a new one. my question is, what is better
-i can get a bare, bare, stripped d16z6 for $30 (83k on it, pro cleaned) and i was thinking on building it. i can also get a pretty much full bottom end d16a6 (rebuilt 60k ago) for $50. i have a vtec head already so i was wondering what is a better building up. im going to do a vitara or forged piston setup, so im going to replace the pistons regardless. even with a turbo, i want something reliable too. or should i buy a complete d16z6 botttom(with like 200k+)
-is the mini me reliable/ worth doing? whats the better setup?
thanks inadvance

if the full bottom end build is sleeved then go with that...then you don't have to worry about it later.

well the thing is ''Mini Me'' is basicly a high compression motor

d16a6 block

d16z6 sohc vtec head

once boost high compression isnt going to be needed so just go with a d16z6 block

but also, understand what its going to take to build a block that is going to be able to withstand turbo/psi
