noob question

Default noob question

vacume for the BOV is hooked upto the back of the intake mani, is the BOV supposed to be open at idle?

as long as it shuts closed when you give it some throttle everything is ok

is it suposed to have a rubber O ring on the valve that opens and closes, so it gets air tight? cuz mine doesnt and i have some boost leaks and i cant figure out where, already checked fmic, pipes... yada yada

not necassarily, a machined surface under pressure should hold
