anyone here running 6-8psi on a stock b16 and no FMIC?

not a good idea, hot air in the motor = low power and harsh on the motor

yeah. just not worth it. spend some money on one of these https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1394180 that way you at least have a nice starting point. not sure on the specifics of these ic's but you can read for yourself.

I also remebered that the Vortech S/C 6psi kit doesnt have a IC . So at 6psi should i be fine?

just because it doesnt come with one doesnt mean its ok.... at 6psi you should be ok... but its not the best thing to do.

why not run one? Pick up a JRC intercooler, or classifieds have some for cheap......

my problem is the FMIC i have is 21x9x3 and i drive a JDM front end ef9. I looked behind the bumper and there is literaly NO room for one or my 2.25" pipes. So i wanted to get a custom one made the same size as a eg rad and run it beside my rad next summer.

is your bumper supprot on there? You can just saw stuff off and make it fit. Not many times will you not have to with a EF.

the ford probe intercoolers fits beside the radiator. guy I work with has one on his civic. hes ran about 13 pounds through it with no problems. hes on h-t his name is freshpizzaguy. hope this helps
