No V-TEC HELP!!
Well this is my problem. I had to rebuild my engine again and after rebuilding I just finish breaking it in. So now this morning I was pushing it up into V-TEC and nothing. I’m also getting a o2 sensor codes which is making my engine run really rich and lean(according to the sensor). Do you think the faulty o2’s are causing the lack of V-TEC engagement. Oh btw I have a 2000 Si with a stoked 2.0L B16 with a Greddy kit. I would really like to fix this problem soon before I just set the car on fire.

Re: No V-TEC HELP!! (DBallz)
I dont think an o2 sensor has anything to do with vtec. I would check other things such as oil pressure, VSS, coolant temp, see if the vtec selinoid is getting power and I think there are a couple of other things that have to happen to fire vtec. somebody who knows for sure will chime in

Re: No V-TEC HELP!! (Flamenco-T)
Well the o2 is the primary but I figure I just will change both units. But that is the only code that I’m getting.
Could the ecu be in limp mode cause of the o2's if so does limp mode cancel out VTEC?
