As the topic states...The car will crank, but will not start....This is the universal btm by the way, not the 6btm.....I hooked up the red wire to a switched 12v source, black to ground, white to coil negative, and yellow to wht/blue wire...I also tried to switch the white and yellow wires around with no luck....I bought this used, so I am not sure if it is good or not....Anyone got ideas, or does this sound like a bad unit????

 

check to see if you're getting spark to ur plugs...

also check for blown fuses

 

I did not check for spark at the plug, but when I disconnected the btm, and hooked up the stock wires, it fired right up....Does the wiring sound correct???

 

Put it back in, and see if you didn't connect the wires the first time.

 

I double checked the wires, everything was hooked up.....Still no spark...Is there any way to test the msd unit to see if it is working properly???
