Default Nitrous without a Purge

Okay, searched. I was just wondering what are the dangers of running nitrous without a purge kit?

I honestly don't think your going to feel the difference. you might set it at the track 1-2 tenths. I ran my nx kit for a year with no purge it pulled all the same. nitrous pressue is around 800-1200 psi. any air will quickly be purged when you hit the spray.

you should feel quite a diff, i know i did. but even so , 1-2 10ths is alot for just clearing out your lines.

Think about it like this. You have a small line running from front to back with 14.7 psi (atmospheric preassure) of air in it. You apply 1000psi of nitrous to that line. The air is gonna be a pretty small portion of the line.

If this is for drag only then thats more where it comes in play for street. I would rather use the amount of nitrous that gets purged through the motor. Its a lot more fun than spraying your money away.

its a totally diff story when you run nitrous and you know from experience. im telling you from experience its a good buy. whether you get it or not ,thats up to you, but its deff worth it . if you need that quick kick in the *** and dont get it becuase there is an air pocket in there. then guess what? it could mean the diff between winning and losing .

Purge with a burnout. The only reason I bought a purge kit was to easily clear the lines after use.
