Default NOS problems

I added 50 shot of NOS on my stock f22, and it slowed me down! Just wondering if anyone had any info that could help? I used a soft plum 90 nozzle and power shot solinods, tapped into my air intake, and I tapped into my stock fule line.

pull the fuel line and nitrous line and have a friend hold it in the air and spray. make sure both are working properly. also make sure the fogger is tapped in the correct spot on the intake and the notch in the bottom of the fogger is facing into the throttle body. big thing is to heat the nitrous.. if you dont heat up the nitrous then it wont spray consistently .. it will spurt out. Try those and tell us what happens.

What jet size are you running? What bottle pressure?

AAAAHHHHHHH, I need heat! I think anyways?! It was like 45 that night at the track and I do not have a heater on the bottle.

I was using 37fuel and 32nos (i got this from the NOS help/tech line) for jets, and the bottle was at 800.

you are probably running way to rich... my 50 shot consists of 36 NOS jet and 24 fuel jet.. good luck

BTW: NOS reccomended i use 37 NOS jet and 22 Fuel jet..but i wanted to call it safe and use the 24 fuel jet to run a little more rich under spray, and the 36 Nitrous jet i had already, didnt feel like spending the extra cash on a jet 1 size larger.. its probly more like a 40-45 shot because im running more rich then normal..but better to play it safe.

I guess I'll have to try switching the jets.... OR buy a "kit" instead of piecing one together from friends....

Thanks guys!

You really need a bottle heater if you want to get anywere near close on your
jetting. Heck at 45 degrees you might have 500 psi pressure. At 90 degrees
you would have closer to 950-1000 psi. The lower the pressure the less n2o
you spray.

Don't worry about peiceing a kit together, if you are careful it will work as
well as any kit.
