Nitrous Setup Inside.. Will I drop pressure?? Input
Setup:
Bone stock b16a2
ITR intake manifold
ITR cams
AEM adjustable cam gears
Ebay header modified to 2.5" collector
2.5 exhaust
DSM 450cc injectors with resistor box
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Hondata s100
I would like to spray a 75 shot.. I have a NOS wet kit, but I was thinking about using the function through s100 (hence the larger injectors) When using this setup you essentially spray a dry shot, and then add fuel through the injectors to compensate. The reason I was doing it this way is that I thought the car wouldnt drop fuel pressure when spraying (like a normal wet setup) and would still be "tunable" through the ecu. I would also be able to use the window switch function through the ecu, etc. This setup will be tuned on a dyno, I will then run it on the street to check the plugs..
Input?
Thanks..

It really won't change the pressure drop situation because the same amount of fuel is still being required suddenly, just being injected via the fuel injectors rather than a nozzle. With a 75 shot you really shouldn't have issues with pressure drop with a good pump setup so if you are, check that fuel pump/filter.
Thanks for the reply. Would I be better off just running it like a typical wet system then and not adding fuel through the ecu?
AKA just use the window switch/timing retard function and still use both the fuel/nitrous solenoids?
Or should I just tune it through the ecu with the larger injectors since it will be a little bit (though not by much) easier install and forget it?

Except in the fact that I will have to head to a tuner to get the chip burned..
If I get it tuned with a 75 shot in a few weeks, will I be able to run it all season/during summer months without worrying about it changing.. or will the temperature adversly affect how safe it is. Should I have the tuner richen it up a tad more to account for this?
