Default nitrous refill question..

can you refill a bottle that is halfway empty??
like if you were going to the track or dyno and did not want to go half empty just in case.

Yup, you just fill it until the bottle weight = empty bottle lb's + desired lbs of N2o

Or just inhale it.

to get a real good fill it is suggested to empty the bottle and keep it cold as possible

Yep. Make sure the tech weighs the bottle before and after though. You don't want to the tech to mess up, lose a few lbs of nitrous, and then charge you extra. Yes it has happened to me before.

nitrous for cars has traces of sulfur to keep people from inhaling it...you will pay a nasty little price if you suck much of it up. its not ordinary laughing gas

This is true. They freeze the bottle so they can get more nitrous in the bottle.

you can refill it if its 1/2 empty but it is recommended to empty and refill. i find that if you refill when its 1/2 full more than 1 time you end up with more air than n20 and the bottle hits real shitty.

Nitrous is a liquid when compressed.

correct, when they pump the nitorus in it gets ait mixed in it. thats why when the bottle is near empty it goes in and out spraying n20 and air.

Air filled NOS bottles make great leaf blowers. Do your local refill place a favor and clean up their parking lot.
