Default nitrous questions?

i bought a zex kit from someone without the controll box, he is running just a solinoid to activate the nitrous. i was wondering how i would go about richening up the a/f mixture when i activate nitrous. he said it is like the nos kit now since it doesnt have the box anymore but if my memory serves me correctly the nos kit has some sort of fuel enrichment. i know i need to run colder plugs and retard the timing a couple of degress but what about fuel?
thanks

so this is not a wet kit??
if its a dry dont go over 40-50 shot to be safe...you can just get a fuel pressure regulator and bump up your base fuel, but its ghetto was to do it

buy a wet kit

that is a dry kit my friend...umm its your call...some people run em...i'm a ***** when it comes to nitrous #1 it costs you every time u push the button, and #2 when its dry you are not adding any fuel for the extra hp....unless you have a wideband to monitor your air to fuel ratio (not a blinky light gauge) then i wouldnt push it...I know a kid with a d15 that shoots a 60shot dry and has never had a prob but he dosnt care about his motor it has 280k

fyi if you want to sell that kit i always collect nitrous parts, becasue i always have to fix kids cars and they generally naver have the $$$ to buy new stuff

good luck in your decision...think turbo

ive got turbo. this is just a kit i bought for fun. it is a dry kit but from my understandind dry kits usually use a vacume reference to the fpr to increase fuel pressure and richen up the mixture. now what parts would i need in order to do this?

you are correct...but you already have a turbo on your car and u want dry nitrous also???

i didnt put nitrous on the mr2 until i installed and tuned the aem.....i am unfamiliar with the parts you need to increase fuel pressure....

how big of shot do you plan to run?
if you purchase another solonid and line and fogger you can make it a wet kit...if you are intrested in doing it the safer way hit me up boostmastermkiii on aim or david_rg79 for msn
