Get a wet kit. Your possession of a VAFC has nothing to do with this, and frankly your mention of it scares me.

Honestly, the correct way to test out a dry shot is to start with the smallest you can get and put it on a dyno and or get a wideband... Adjust your fuel pressure to about 44-46 psi... (thats if you have stock injectors and and OEM fuel pump... )

I ran a 60 shot on a 91 DA for 2 1/2 years everyday all day until i got greedy and tried to spray a 75 and the fuel pump couldnt pump out anymore and it ran a bit lean... I made another pass with an AFC just like in your case and it really didnt make that much of a diff cuz the pump was pretty much at 100% duty cycle...

I then swapped it out for an OEM ITR pump and it ran beautiful but again as we all know its only a matter of time before STOCK internals say buh-by!!!

I ended up cracking a ring land... but for 2 1/2 years and 140,000+ miles on pretty much stock B18a ( LS motor ) I made 184whp and 206wtq and that was SAE CORRECTED...

Good luck and dont short cut anything... always do it the right way and FIND A DYNO and progress slowly...

im just useing this dry kit. i got it for free and i have had a wet kit before and had it running good. but wet had fuel added. im just worried about not having enuff fuel. it came with a 50 shot so im probly going to use that. if i use a fuel of 101 would i have to change the fuel pressure. or do u think it would be fine. and i said i had a afc cuz i need to no if i should just use that to add fuel or what to do.
