nitrous not working??
I have a NX nitrous and fuel solenoids. But my relay are probably not NX brand. the colors are blue red orange and green. does it matter if the relay is different brand from the nitrous? my orange is hooked up to the battery, it has a fuse in it so tats a no brainer. red is hooked up to WOT switch etc. green to ground and blue to both the solenoids. everything is wired properly as listed above unless somethings wrong and someone can tell me. but as i arm my arming switch which is grounded and connected to the WOT. (my arming switch also has an ACC which isn't connected. does it have to be connected for the arming switch to work or can the power and ground just be connected?) When I turn my car on and arm the switch, then push the WOT switch theres no solenoid clicking? Ive tested the solenoids directly to battery and they click so what could be the problem??? any help is appreaciated. sorry for the "cool story bro" content but in need of help. THANKS
when i had my kit i simplified the wiring by running an arming switch, three solenoids, and a push button.
wiring was as follows:
arming switch had a hot and ground directly to battery and an acc wire to the ignition. i had a push button for purge which only had a hot and ground tied into the hot and ground on the arming switch... the purge solenoid was tied into this as well. both fuel and nitrous solenoids were tied in together ( wire on right to wire on right wire on left to wire on left, since both wires were blue but i dont think it matters as long as you have the same corresponding wires connected) ground on of the sets of wires coming out of the solenoids, then the other wire goes to the wot switch. the other tab on the wot switch goes to the power on the toggle switch.
