nitrous on a chipped ECU

I will be spraying a min 100 shot on my motor once it's together which is cp pistons @ about 12.0:1 comp in my b18c1. I am going to keep my timing @ 16 degrees and just get a msd digital 6 plus to retard my timing when I spray. The digital 6 only retards your timing when spraying. I will also be using 310cc injectors. Also prob only gonna spray on av gas, which is around 101 octane.
If anyone knows anymore details on the digital 6 can u retard it by as much as u want or if it is adjustable what is the retard range 0 deg to what????</TD></TR></TABLE>
Problem is, is you have no way to recalibrate the ECU for the larger injectors.

Sorry forgot to mention VAFC. I will get it tuned for all motor and then see what the nitrous does on top of it. There motor will also have skunk2 stage 2's in it. Which I was told will actualy bleed some if the nitrous off.

the Digital 6 is great for people spraying nitrous. a couple of months ago i did a nitrous system on a stock gsr, it consist of a NOS 4 fogger kit, MSD Digital 6 with cap and coil, fuel pump, wires and bottle warmer. it took all day becuz of all the prep work ie, tapping the manifold for the fogger, wiring, etc. but when i was done everything was sweet, clean and a great set up.
the dude had a healthy stock 1999 Gsr motor. i set the timing to 19deg off the nitrous and 14deg when the nitrous kits in. at first i thought it wasn't working becuz it was not retarding the timing at idle but i figured out the the digital 6 retards the timing when triggered anywhere above 2k rpm. all you have to do is tap the BLUE wire from the Digital 6 into the positive (12v) wires on the nitrous solenoids.
btw, he was spraying an 80shot although it felt like a 50 becuz i'm used to my Turbo car. i suggested raising the shot to 100 or 120 shot but he refused since he felt the difference. anyhow, he ran a best time of 13.4 with Azenis drag radials. thats not bad considering that it was his first time ever at the track.
also, you can retard the timing from 0-9.9*deg with the Digital 6. (*edit)

Generic Chipped ECU + NOS = bad idea.
The richened fuel maps in most programs will help, but the advanced timing also found in these could spell disaster sooner or later. A program can be made specifically with richer fuel maps and, stock or retarded timing...but the car will run like **** if aint spraying. Having a timing retard switch or function like the ones found in the digi-6 will definitely make a difference when running a chipped ECU
