Default Nitrous Backfires

I was told that running nitrous with individual throttle bodies can cause
severe nitrous backfires. How serious is this ?

Wet or dry?

I believe either way if you have upgraded throttle bodies you must get tuned.

Yes i know but I was told that regardless with ITBs I would have nitrous backfires. It would be direct port.
