Default nitrous b16a safe?

I am probably going to purchase a zex dry kit for my 92-95 Eg9 b16a. I know people recommend getting a new MSD ignition and fuel pump etc, but i was wondering if the stock fuel pump and ignition would be fine for a 75 shot of nitrous. I know that zex sells a fuel pump upgrade, but i was wondering if running a 75 shot nitrous on a stock b16a w/ intake and greddy evo exuast be safe and would not blow up or is it neccesary to buy the upgrades etc. so the engine wont blow ? I've read that running a 75 shot on a stock b16a will work fine, but my dad seems to think it will blow up. thanks..........sorry if any of this is worded wierd

just make sure u retard timing like 2 degrees and put colder plugs in it...gaped to .030...and like a 190lph fuel pump and u should be fine...sprak plug.(ngk...bcpr6e-11-s)<-------those r colder plugs for honda civics...zex plugs isn't to good...my friend blew his car using those..

i ran a 75 shot on my gen 2 j spec b16 and it had a gsr head on it(uped compression) with a stock cx fuel pump and stock timing with no problems for like two years(then i went turbo) so i think you will be fine

you'll lose a little power with the timing retarded all the time, thats why most get something like the msd digital 6, it'll retard the timing only when the nitrous is spraying, among other things. i just got mine, cant wait to install it.

Get an NOS or NX or Compu Car wet kit. So much easier to install and I feel safer with mine. I know I am adding the needed fuel. So no running lean.

zex has a wet kit too. although something about spraying gasoline through my intake doesnt sound to appealing.
