Default Nitrous + 5th gear question.

so i was given a single fogger zex kit to play with. stock ls motor/tranny with 75 shot. i was told spraying in 5th is a bad idea. can anyone explain why, or if this true at all?

Because you'll be doing 120+ before you have to shift into 5th, and the load placed on it at that point will surely break something.

If you're doing it at a lower speed in 5th, then you're doing it just to waste n2o. Downshifting > low rpm torque from spray.
