Nitrious Question may be stupid!!!!!!!

Default Nitrious Question may be stupid!!!!!!!

Ok i know this is probly stupid question,,, while running my intercooler piping i had to take my horn out. So i start thinking couldnt i use those wires to activate my nitrous solends... And i can have them as a button on my sterrring wheel.. I know ill probly be flames but just curious to know.. I hate running wires thru my car so i was thinking of using thee wires!!!!

What u guys think????

Sounds interesting. I dont see why you couldnt do it. Are you actually going to use the horn button to activate the selinoids though or just use the wiring? If so, when ever someone happens to cut you off, dont honk your horn.

make sure you use a switched 12v for the power on the solenoid and it should work. the horn button should just provide the ground for the solenoid. Also use a arming switch.

Great idea...let me know how it turns out....im not sure but you might have to check the relay and see the power or "amp" output from it. i dont think y ou can just cut the horn wires and directly wire it to a solenoid

you can easily use it.

We set this up on a friends vehicle with a switch so that standard horn functionality is still retained. flip the switch.. *beep beep!* flip it again... Bwaaaa Bwaaa!

ok what if my painter took all my wires out? wht color wire is the horn button? were can i find it at?

this is on a eg though? and what solenoids get wired? both or just one?
