Do you think I will be able to use on of these as a kill switch and mount it outside the car and would I be able to find it at my local auto parts shop. thanks

you should be able to use it as a kill switch for the starter but you will need a relay. those wires look to thin to run alot of current through

Do you think I can use a three wired one and cut off one of the wires or ground it.

no you want to use the 2 leads that are common when in accessory position and use a relay. I can tell you what wires go where if you need.
